In honor of Friends of the Library Week, guest host Marrie Stone is joined by Alison Wright (VP of Programs at the Costa Mesa Library), Jane Deeley (Regional Manager of the OC Public Library System) and Glen Warren (Encinitas Union School District Director of Literacies, Outreach, and Libraries). Together they share some staggering statistics about our California school system, the surprising and extensive work going on in our library system, how the public can get involved, and the many programs our libraries offer.
